Clyde Snowboards Exhibiting at the Knowshow

January 5th, 2010

On January 20th to 22nd, Calgary will be hosting Canada’s only snowboard industry tradeshow at the Roundup Centre. It is usually held in Vancouver but because of a little event called the Olympics rolling into that town around the same time they are holding it here instead.

The good news is that this is the first year that Clyde will be exhibiting (Booth #511) so if you’re a retailer and would like to check out the line for 2010/2011 give us a shout or fire us an email at info (at) clydesnowboards.com and we’ll arrange a time to meet or simply pop by the booth. The bad news is that this event is not open to the public, so retailers only please.

Random Clyde Spotting

December 3rd, 2009

I have been getting emails about this brochure for Stoneham & Mont Saint Anne that has a full on Clyde base shot in it, so I have finally put it up cuz it’s such a nice photo. The rider is Gab from Quebec. Nice work my friend…just more proof that Clyde is taking over Canada! Haha…

CustomGraphics

I’ve been getting visits, calls, and emails about when the deadline would be to order a custom graphic board as a Christmas present. I thought I should address it since the deadline is this week….in other words, if you 100% need the board before Christmas, you have to get in your order in the next few days. Pricing starts at $595 and goes up to $695 with the performance upgrade. Fire me an email for a design template and additional details: info (at) clydesnowboards.com

Check out this castle

November 18th, 2009

Leo Dicaprio is in Kananaskis shooting scenes for his new flick Inception by Christopher Nolan (of Dark Knight & Momento fame). They are filming in a Castle they built on top of the closed Fortress Ski area. Pretty sick. I hope they blow that shit up…..either that or leave it for someone to hit those rails or build a booter off that lower deck.

The Greasers are Coming!

November 5th, 2009

Greasers

This season the Clyde & RBA teams will be shooting a series of webisodes for you guys to enjoy. Without me getting too much into explaining it, I’ll let Dwayne Wiebe walk you through it:

“After the explosion of internet video and the absence of sponsor money…. RBA (Red Baron Apparel) and Clyde Snowboards have decided to take things into our own hands. We are proud to present The Greasers: a team video from two all-Canadian companies that will be a free download for everyone to enjoy. Along with the movie that will be released next fall, we’ll be posting webisodes all season showing almost every thing that goes down throughout the winter: Making and designing snowboards and outerwear, the good and bad parts of filming, parties, contests… pretty much anything you can think of. We’ll also be posting product contests and upcoming events so you can be there for all of the mayhem that is sure to go down!

Riding in the flick are a handful of well-known Canadian greasers, including Ryan Hall, Craig Bowl-u, Kael Hill, Dwayne Wiebe, Donn Hore, Nic “Molotov” Brunette, and Todd Williamson, as well as a group of up-and-coming senders that haven’t quite had the chance to be involved in a large scale project; Matt Butel, Eric Lauzon, Greg Almond, Mike Dunlop, and the one and only Loosh. The Greasers will be all over the continent filming for our movie and will also be filming anyone kickin’ it along the way, giving all you shreds out there a chance to get involved in the project. We’ll also be posting blogs through the winter at both clydesnowboards.com and redbaronapparel.com. Peep the posts and products. And get stoked… because it has already begun! Stay tuned for episode one, coming ASAP!”
