While our new site is just about ready to launch, I thought I’d give you a teaser of a new board for 2010 called the Popsicle Stick. Our Team Manager, Mike Dunlop came to me with this idea to do a bamboo topsheet on a board…yes, it’s been done before, but not like this. First of all, there is no thick lacquer coat on there…the bamboo is raw and is oiled to prevent moisture absorption. More impressive than that is that the graphic is neither screen printed, nor sublimated, nor die-cut….rather it’s actually laser etched straight into the topsheet. The result is so sick you have to see it to truly understand. The Popsicle Stick retails for $659 and comes in a 151cm and 157cm…

Well, it actually snowed at the top of the hills and it that wasn’t exciting enough Norquay, Louise and Sunshine have posted their tentative opening dates. Here they are:

Mt. Norquay – October 31st, 2009 (Weekends only)
Lake Louise – November 6th, 2009
Sunshine Village – November 11th, 2009

….Stoked. If you haven’t ordered your new Clyde deck, now is the time as things are busy as ever at the shop.

Ok….so you have some time. But use that time to work on an excuse to skip work, chores, weddings, birthdays, etc… cuz we’re goin’ ridin’.  I’ll make sure the entire Clyde team is up at Sunshine Village…
