Mark and I rolled up to Edmonton on Saturday to check out the JibJab rail jam taking place at the Edmonton Snow Show.  The set-up was alright…I guess as good of a set-up as you could fit in the small space they had to work with.  Clyde was represented well, and I had a good vantage point from the beer garden (surprise, surprise).  Snapped a few horrible picks…one of the scaffolding set-up and one of our good friend Dwayne pressin’ his way into the finals.

Late Saturday afternoon I threw a party to celebrate the one year anniversary since opening our new factory here in Calgary.  No, that doesn’t mean that I’ve only been making boards for one year….it’s been over 12 now.  Anyway, I just wanted to clarify that.  Back to the story!  

So people started filtering down at around 3pm…Kael Hill and Matt were the early-birds and Ryan Hall came down to help us set-up.  Cherie worked the BBQ and kept us all fed while we drank WAY too many beers…

…the beers were flowin’ and people were skatin’, the music was pumpin’ and everyone was having a great time…

I bought this new SLR camera that I still haven’t learned how to use yet, but I gave it a go anyway.  The party really started rockin’ at around 5pm when James Beach showed up with a re-stock of booze (oh, by the way James…you left your shirt in the showroom which begs the question….what did you wear home?)

The Clyde team were there and even Summit, the team mascot (Dunny’s dog) joined in the festivities…

It was fun….maybe too much fun if there is such a thing.  Here are some more pics…..

Thanks to everyone who came down to check-out the show last Wednesday night.  We had well over 200 people at the show, so ya, I’d call it a success.  I just wanted to post some picks from the event…

…we’re throwing a BBQ this Saturday, October 18th between 3pm and 6pm to mark the one year anniversary of being in our new factory location.  Come by for free hotdogs, drinks and music!  Only the big kids can have the drinks though.

My apologies for the lack of updates in the last week….as you can probably imagine I am up to my neck in it building boards just trying to stay on top of things.  Busy, busy!  Anyway, I have some great news and other great posts that I just need a few spare minutes to post, so they’re coming.  Don’t forget, it’s only one week until our premier of Knockout at the Plaza Theatre.  We are also going to be having an after party imediatley after the show a few doors down at Sam’s in Kensington.
