ArtProject Recap…it was a good night.

On Friday night Clyde Snowboards (in conjunction with Red Baron Apparel and the Source Boardshop) sponsored the ArtProject, a Calgary artshow with a focus on snowboard and skateboard art.  Actually, it turned out to be more of a raging party with nice art on the walls, but that’s another story.  All I can say is that you know it was a good night when you can’t find your cell in the morning.

Anyway, back to the story…it all went down starting nice and early at 5pm with a steady stream of people coming in to check things out, but the real crowd started around 7:30 or 8pm when there were literally hundreds of people coming and going.

Clyde had a nice little set-up with some of the boards being suspended in the air for all to see.  Board designs by Mark Kowalchuk, Extraverage, and Christina Huber were front and center.  There was tons of art from the likes of Artschool, TJ Schneider, and more.  Here are some examples…

Like I said, the crowd started to get thick around 8 and the booze really started flowin’.  Here’s me and Cherie right before it got out of hand…

Here’s TJ Schneider from Capita, Mike Gilfix from RBA, Dwayne Wiebe from the Source and Kim…

Christina Huber, our good friend and artist behind the Kingdom board graphic came down for the evening as well…
