It was time….it was time to take a day off and go riding at a real hill. What better place to go then head to my favorite mountain in Canada, Kicking Horse (I’ve only hit Revy once and it wasn’t a pow day, so for now KH is still my favorite). The Clyde team has been spread all over, Mike Dunlop is over in Pemberton, Ryan Hall is a Canada Olympic Park regular along with Eric Lauzon, Dwayne Wiebe has been filming up in Edmonton this past week, Donn Hore is in Whistler shooting, Craig Beaulieu is training for the World Slopestyle Championships, Kael Hill is in Quebec working on a TV show, and me…I’ve just been trying to balance work and play.

On January 20th to 22nd, Calgary will be hosting Canada’s only snowboard industry tradeshow at the Roundup Centre. It is usually held in Vancouver but because of a little event called the Olympics rolling into that town around the same time they are holding it here instead.
The good news is that this is the first year that Clyde will be exhibiting (Booth #511) so if you’re a retailer and would like to check out the line for 2010/2011 give us a shout or fire us an email at info (at) clydesnowboards.com and we’ll arrange a time to meet or simply pop by the booth. The bad news is that this event is not open to the public, so retailers only please.

I have been getting emails about this brochure for Stoneham & Mont Saint Anne that has a full on Clyde base shot in it, so I have finally put it up cuz it’s such a nice photo. The rider is Gab from Quebec. Nice work my friend…just more proof that Clyde is taking over Canada! Haha…

This past weekend Clyde sponsored the first ASA railjam of the season at Mt. Norquay in Banff. About 80 kids showed up from all over Alberta and rocked it plain and simple. See you all December 12th at COP for the next stop on the tour.

I’ve been getting visits, calls, and emails about when the deadline would be to order a custom graphic board as a Christmas present. I thought I should address it since the deadline is this week….in other words, if you 100% need the board before Christmas, you have to get in your order in the next few days. Pricing starts at $595 and goes up to $695 with the performance upgrade. Fire me an email for a design template and additional details: info (at) clydesnowboards.com

Leo Dicaprio is in Kananaskis shooting scenes for his new flick Inception by Christopher Nolan (of Dark Knight & Momento fame). They are filming in a Castle they built on top of the closed Fortress Ski area. Pretty sick. I hope they blow that shit up…..either that or leave it for someone to hit those rails or build a booter off that lower deck.
